Green Banks: a Discussion on Potential to Lead the Charge on Green Stimulus and COVID Economic Recovery

Join us for a virtual discussion focused on the intersection of green banks and economic recovery.
The Green Bank Network invites you to join a lively discussion with senior executives from member green banks and leading experts on how catalytic green financial institutions are responding the challenges and opportunities created by the pandemic.

Green Bank Network members from Connecticut Green Bank (United States) and Tata Cleantech Capital Limited (India) will discuss the pandemic’s impact on their strategy and performance as well as their role in guiding and implementing green economic recovery and stimulus through their investments.

Guest speakers will also discuss the latest efforts around creation of a U.S. Climate Bank, a legislative proposal that recently passed in the US House of Representatives. In addition, participants will get an update from Korea on how the Green Climate Fund is supporting green bank institutions, and an update on the recent proposal for a Korea Green Investment Bank as part of the Korea’s Green New Deal. The 75-minute session will be structured as an interactive discussion.
